Overview

Intent Crafter is an Android developer tool. This policy explains how we handle your information. The short version: we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Everything happens locally on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal information, device identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports, location data, advertising IDs, or any other personal data. No data is sent to external servers.

Local Storage

The App stores your preferences (theme, server port, QR history) locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it anytime via Android Settings → Apps → Intent Crafter → Clear Data.

Permissions

Camera — Used for QR code scanning only. No images are stored or transmitted.

Internet / Wi-Fi — Used for the local file sharing server, which operates entirely on your local network. No data is routed to the internet.

Read Logs — Used to display system logcat output within the app. Log data is never uploaded.

Storage — Used to save QR codes to your gallery and share files. No files are uploaded externally.

Query All Packages — Used by the Activity Launcher and App Inspector to list installed apps on your device. This data is shown to you only and never transmitted.

Phone State / Location / Bluetooth — Used by the Device Dashboard to display hardware info locally. Never collected or transmitted.

Local File Sharing

The File Share feature runs a temporary HTTP server on your local Wi-Fi network. Files travel only between devices on your local network and are never routed through external servers. The server stops when you close the feature.

In-App Purchases

Intent Crafter uses Google Play Billing for purchases. All payment processing is handled by Google. We do not receive or store any payment information. Google's handling of payment data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party component is Google Play Billing.

Children's Privacy

Intent Crafter is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
